Graffiti Artists Captured in an Incredible Time-Lapse Video

Graffiti Artists are incredible at creating large scale masterpieces under time restraints. Graffiti can be more than just some pretty pictures, it can express underlying social and political messages. Within hip hop culture, graffiti has evolved alongside hip hop musicb-boying, and other elements. Unrelated to hip-hop graffiti, gangs use their own form of graffiti to mark territory or to serve as an indicator of gang-related activities.

These Graffiti Artists created this monstrous work of art in just three days and has surpassed over 2.5 million views on YouTube. After you view this 5-minute time-lapse video of absolute graffiti havoc, you will understanding why it is truly impressive. The Australian paint company Ironlak sponsored a team of graffiti artists. As part of their advertising campaign, Ironlak created a short film with videographer Selina Miles and the graffiti artists Sofles, Fintan Magee, Treas, and Quench — and it is truly incredible. I love all the amazing camera angles and the upside down piece. This is something like you’ve never seen. this graffiti artist montage is more than just some paint on the walls.

This graffiti project was done 100% legally, but unsolicited graffiti is still illegal in Australia. [creativebloq]
