Miniature Food Jewelry Good Enough to Eat by Candice Ware

Miniature food jewelry called Candiware is the creation of Toronto based artist, Candice Ware. It all started for Candice as a child when she developed a love for small toys such as Polly Pockets, so miniature food jewelry just happened to fit her style perfectly! She started making this miniature food jewelry as a hobby for herself but once she realized that others loved them too, she started ramping up production. Candice has been making these appetizing creations since 2008 and has been selling them through her online shop. Here’s a few words from Candice on her miniature food jewelry:

“I specialize in dessert miniatures. Taking fimo and molding it into a little treat creation to wear. My work can add to any outfit, brake the ice, or help make your day a little more fun. I have also incorporated scent into my mini sweets too, which include chocolate vanilla, strawberry, and many more! All my jewelry is either made one of a kind or on limited runs, so that the pieces are always unique and fun in my shop.  I enjoy making all kinds of different jewelery so if you want anything specific, please get in touch with me so I can help make something just for you!”

These miniature creations are incredibly detailed and so intricate. Candice does not use any magnifying glass to amplify the image in front of her and every piece is done freehand. As her signature finishing touch, all her pieces are scented to reflect their respective dishes. My personal favourite has to be the bacon : ). What do you think of these tiny little treasures? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.  [via candiware]
