These unbelievable hand paintings are the works of Milan based artist, Guido Daniele. He graduated from Brera School of Arts and he has been painting and participating in personal and group art exhibitions since 1968. Circa 1990 he added a new artistic experience to his previous ones: using the body painting technique he creates and paints models bodies for different situations such as advertising pictures and commercials, fashion events and exhibitions. The “Handimals” collection originally started when Guido Daniele was hired by an advertising agency to do some body paintings of animals which later stemmed to hand paintings.
Guido Daniele‘s hand paintings have recently led him to a new art form: combining two traditional portrait techniques, which are photography and oil painting, laid on photographic support in the same way as Jan Saudek. These unbelievable hand paintings will surely impress. At times you start to think you’re actually looking at pictures of real animals.
