NeonMob is art collecting turned upside down – a groundbreaking website focused on digital collectibles, art, and other creative content. Instead of static, offline products, NeonMob offers an interactive, digital experience, that eschews the high-cost, single payer model in favor of a low-cost, many-payer model that’s also the most compelling and fun way to collect beautiful art.
NeonMob’s latest collection is from Gabo Galicia – also known as Mr. Lemonade – an illustrator based in Leon, Mexico. Galicia is passionate about expressing what he sees, what he feels, and what is around him through his characters and illustrations. Mr. Lemonade describes the environment he created for his new illustrations – PJ Style:
Welcome to the world of PJ Style where sometimes, competition can go too far. For the residents of Pijay County, that statement is all too true. The youth who live in Pijay are such ferocious, competitive hooligans, that they’ve formed gangs. These color-coded gangs, known as troupes, wage wars against each other using bikes, skateboards, roller blades, and other athletic means of transport as battle aids. It started as friendly competition and turned into gang warfare, centered around the Pijay River, which cuts through the town like a knife.
